Pro Muffler & Brake has an immediate opening for an experienced, certified automotive technician to join our team. This is an extremely rare opportunity for the right individual. Must be self motivated and effectively communicate with other team members.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Automotive Technician has the responsibility of understanding and completing routine work necessary for the repair of customer vehicles. This individual will perform general repairs and diagnosis with assistance if needed.

• Make accurate use of multi-point inspection form on each vehicle
• Document all recommended work on assigned repair order
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work may be needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by management
• When necessary & practical, conduct road test to determine work needed and to confirm work was successfully completed
• Perform all levels of diagnosis and repair on vehicles
• Utilize product and technical training as assigned by management
• Maintain a high Customer Satisfaction Index
• Report to management any situation or condition that would jeopardize the safety, welfare, or integrity of the shop, its customers or employees
• Take care to ensure that customer's vehicles are returned to them in the same or better condition
• Previous automotive technician experience required
• Must have wide selection of basic tools
• Must be a minimum of 25 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license

Pro Muffler & Brake has an immediate opening for someone who has the desire to become a state certified mechanic. Must be self motivated and effectively communicate with other team members. The long term goal would be to help this trainee get certified and someday open their own repair shop, so this is a rare opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Automotive Technician has the responsibility of understanding and completing routine work necessary for the repair of customer vehicles as supervised by a certified mechanic. This individual will perform general repairs and diagnosis with assistance.

• MUST BE WILLING TO LEARN FROM CERTIFIED MECHANIC
• Must show up on time every day and willing to work hard
• Must maintain a good attitude
• Must be a minimum of 20 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Communicate with service advisor
• Prefer they have some basic tools but not necessary
• Maintain shop proficiency as specified by other technicians
• Utilize product and technical training as assigned by technicians
• Apply for state trainee permit
• Maintain a high Customer Satisfaction Index
• Report to management any situation or condition that would jeopardize the safety, welfare, or integrity of the shop, its customers or employees
• Take care to ensure that customer's vehicles are returned to them in the same or better condition
• Some previous automotive technician experience a benefit but not necessary
